Historic Gloria Dei Preservation Corporation invites local authors of Philadelphia area history – both non-fiction and fiction for adults or children – to attend its first-ever History Book Festival Sunday, May 15, at 916 S. Swanson Street (Columbus Blvd. & Christian St.), Philadelphia.
The Festival will take place at historic Gloria Dei (Old Swedes’) Church from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Food and refreshments will be available. Attendance is free. Both children and adults are welcome.
$25 cost for authors
Interested authors will need to register for the festival and pay $25 for one-half of a table (4 ft of space and a chair) to tell their story and display their books.
The number of authors will be limited to 30 and they’ll be accepted on a first-come, first served basis by a registration committee.
