Join us as we commemorate the 250th anniversary of this important Revolutionary War campaign, which was larger than others in the number of troops involved and battles fought. Local historian Jim Segrave-Daly will discuss the battles of Brandywine, Paoli and Germantown, the British occupation of Philadelphia and the American encampments at Whitemarsh, Gulph Mills and Valley Forge. Although England won the major battles, the Continental Army’s survival began the push towards the Southern Campaign and America’s ultimate victory at Yorktown.
Admission is $12, which includes a drink ticket for a beverage of your choice (alcoholic or non-alcoholic). Advanced tickets are available at a discounted rate of $10 each until the day before the program.
This program will take place inside the church sanctuary, followed by a reception in Riverside Hall. For a modest donation, you can taste delicious gourmet desserts paired with wine, coffee or tea.
