Current Outreach Efforts -
- Meal Ministry with St. Gabriel's Episcopal Church
Once a month we will be cooking and delivering a meal to the community at St. Gabriel's Episcopal Church in North Philadelphia (Feltonville).
- Collecting Donations for the Food Pantry
Donations will go to a local pantry at Snyder Avenue Congregational Church, which serves many local immigrant and refugee families. There is a basket in the back of the church to leave your donations. https://saccphilly.org/
- Volunteering with the Philadelphia Ukranian Cathedral
We help sort clothing for Ukranian immigrants and refugees. Contact info@old-swedes for more details.
- POWER Interfaith
Looking ahead, we are investigating an opportunity to work with this organization on advocating for affordable housing in Philadelphia. https://powerinterfaith.org/
