With Maria Dell’Orefice

Maria holds a piano performance degree from Baylor University, graduating summa cum laud, and is completing her graduate studies in piano performance at Temple University with Dr. Charles Abramovic. She recently performed Olivier Messiaen’s Quartet for the End of Time, a legendary work written in a concentration camp during World War II, and has performed solo at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall five times. Maria has held positions in the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra, the Baylor Symphony Orchestra, and the Waco Symphony Orchestra. Maria is a member of Ensō New Music, a chamber ensemble that plays new music composed by living composers.

Watch this special program and learn more about the music enjoyed when Gloria Dei (Old Swedes’) Church completed construction in 1700. Maria will play a concert including music of the time and provide background commentary about the individual pieces.

This program will feature a LIVE video stream starting at 7pm, which will conclude at 8:00. Then, Maria will be available for your Q&A until 8:30. Attendees must RSVP in advance. Tickets are $20 each.

If you purchase an Experience Box for $25, you are invited to attend the live performance in Riverside Hall! (Maximum availability is 30 seats.)
