Liturgy and Worship

The Liturgy at Gloria Dei is truly the work of the family of Gloria Dei. Without question, it reflects the openness and flexibility which characterize our parish community as a whole.

Gloria Dei incorporates elements from Holy Catholic traditions such as celebrating the Eucharist at both regularly scheduled services, but with a distinctive character to each celebration. The 11 o'clock service incorporates more music, including a choir piece, and other, less traditional elements from time to time. These have included dance and tableaux performed by the children, prayers drawn from other Christian and non-Christian traditions and forms created for specific occasions.

While we are always a work in progress, Gloria Dei strives to be a place where all will feel welcome in faith and spirit.
