St. Peter's Food Cupboard

Gloria Dei's parishioners join St. Peter's congregation volunteering at the Food Cupboard. The Food Cupboard distributes groceries to those in need on Saturday mornings from 8 AM – 10 AM at St. Peter's House, 313 Spruce Street. Clients residing below Market Street and east of Broad Street are invited to receive food every two weeks. Between 150 and 175 people benefit weekly, this might include 41 children and 55 senior citizens.

St. Peter's Food Cupboard will accept in-kind donations. Contributions from the following list would be greatly appreciated: cereal, canned fruit, 1 lb. bags of rice, dry milk (in envelopes), baby food, baby formula, and diabetic non-perishable food items.

If you are interested in volunteering or have any questions, please contact Jeanette Woehr at (856) 795-3781.
